I don’t think it was harassment, but it was sexual discrimination and he should be counseled by HR. One isolated incident isn’t lawsuit material, but cummulative events are, especially if he doesn’t stop after being told to.

Keep a journal of his remarks, not only to you, but to others around him. One day he will get his “come to Jesus” moment when he’s fired.

well, as disrespectful and chauvinistic as it is, i wouldn’t say that its sexual harassment.
Sexual harassment is harassment or unwelcome attention of a sexual nature. It includes a range of behavior from mild transgressions and annoyances to serious abuses, which can even involve forced sexual activity.
What was done to the one female, is rude and a prime example of the male tendency to stereotype women, but its not harassment. unless he said that and then hit the girl on the butt. that would be a whole other story!
    i hope this helps!

It is condescending, not sexual harassment.

He was most likely just joking to break the ice. I wouldnt take it too seriously. Just keep an eye on it.

    No!

It depends on what position she held in the group. If she was just a secretary, or stenographer, she would be the least important of the group and her absence would not deter from the meeting.
I don’t think, if she was a key person, they would ask her that.

I’d consider it inappropriate and disrespectful. However, sexual harassment consists of "Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature". http://www.de2.psu.edu/harassment/legal/

That would really suck, hope you/she had a good comeback that made everyone laugh, and resulted in you/her not getting "the boys" coffee. I would say that it is, but not-court worthy harassment.
