How do I discretely list “sexual harassment” as the reason for leaving a job?

Question:
I quit because I was being sexually harassed.  I am applying to a government position that will require me to take a polygraph test, so lying or omitting the truth is not an option.

Also, there is a question that asks if I have ever had an altercation with a coworker, and there is a box for me to explain. What should I do? I can’t lie but I certainly can’t put “sexual harassment” on a job application. Help!

Answer:  Like you said, lying is not an option.  ”I wanted to continue working for ABC company, but was forced to quit because I was being sexually harassed by [another co-worker/the boss].  I felt it was in the best interest of my own well being and career to seek employment elsewhere.”
