First contact the Human Resources Department, if you have one, for assistance in seeking legal direction. The government has placed strict guidelines in the workplace for sexual harassment offenders. If unable to find help there, contact the Legal Aid Department in your state. They offer legal service free of charge.
First you must keep diligent notes…times…dates…ETC. Then you contact your Human Resource director, complete with a copy of your notes. This puts the ball in their court. If you do not receive satisfaction, your case has merit enough to consult the dept of Labor to whom you will also submit a copy. Make sure that you also copy that letter. Then you go to "legal aid" which is an agency that does legal work "pro-bono" ( without payment), Depending upon the circumstances and how much money the suit is likely to make, there are many lawyers who would just "love" to see you! (They are a greedy bunch…and are very aggressive if they think that your case is solid and backed up by dates and times and witnesses.
Good luck..I hope you "get" that knuckle-head!
