I Just Got Fired From Work! Is It Discrimination?
I just got fired after being suspended for 6 days from work by my supervisor because i went into work a few days ago and got some food without paying for it that same day. i was planning to pay for it the next day i work. keep in mind that i always do this and the store manager has never had a problem with it and besides the point every employee in there including the store manager always take food without paying.
Now the manager that was in charge the day i went in had no problem with me taking the food and even lied about what i took.
so when i went into work the next day the supervisor suspended me and took my keys and asked me to leave the store and im pretty sure i am getting fired.
I am being discriminated against because every employee in that store takes food all the time without paying.
What can i do about this situation??
I got no write up or suspension notice also i worked full time for the company for 2 years and received no vacation hours.. how does that happen?

You screwed up. It is never ok to take anything from the company that doesn’t belong to you. What’s the written company policy on taking food? If there is one, the only thing the company did wrong was to not evenly enforce its own policy, but it’s not worth fighting. There was no discrimination. Next time, read the employee manual.
