Injured at Work: Can’t Perform Job After Injury

I have returned to work, but now they are relocating my department and I don’t think i can do the other jobs that are left because of my injury. Can the company just let me go?

Answer:  You don’t give enough information, but they cannot fire you so soon after your work related injury or it would appear to the court as retaliation.  Did your doctor release you with any type of work restrictions such as light duty or no heavy lifting or something?  Were you on work comp due to your injury?
