The biggest problem in waiting to report a work related injury is proving that it happen on the job. Apparently you did not tell your doctor that it was a work injury or he would have requested that you give him the Employer/WC claim information at time of treatment. The state insurance laws may have a reporting time frame that must be followed in order to be allowed to file a claim. All you can do now is try to report it to your employer and w/c carrier and hope they cover it. Good luck
