Injured at work, what should I do?
Just wanted to know because I got injured at work. If it’s a good idea to take or go out for vacation? Or stay and get sick days? And what will happen when I do take my Vacation?
Answer: DO NOT take vacation or sick time. If you need to be off work because of a job injury, make sure you GO TO THE DOCTOR and file a Workers’ Comp claim. Have your doctor write to note that you need to be off work x number of days. Make WC pay for your days off. You’ll only get 75% of your pay, but you should NOT have to dig into sick time or vacation time to do it.
