One thing can lead to another. This is what happened with me at my workplace. Joking smiles from a male colleague turning to creepy smiles which eventually lead to him forcing himself on to me when we were togehter looking for some files in a lonely area. If anything ever makes you feel uncomfortable and it doesn’t feel right tell the person to stop and make it very clear, don’t take this kind of thing as a joke. If it does not stop report it to a manager, I wish I had done as I would have saved myself a lot of heartache.

    No, it’s not.

Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).
