Non-Work Related Injury, Can I Get Unemployment?
Q: Ii’ve worked at the same company for 6 months and I’m injured (non-work related) can i draw unemployment?
A: No to the unemployment. In order to collect UE, you must be ready, willing and able to work. If you are sick or otherwise unable to work, even on vacation, you cannot collect UE. You may be able to get on temporary state disability, but only a doctor can put you on that.

From your post, it sounds like (and I’m assuming) you are still employed, but just unable to work. If so, then no, you cannot collect unemployment. However, you may be eligible for disability if you are unable to work.
Nope. Unemployment is for people who CAN work. It’s a requirement that you be able to work, if work becomes available.
