My boss fired me for the littlest thing, but would not stop having me work the the guy that was sexually harassing me. Can i still go back and sue for them not looking out for my safety?

  • It depends upon a number of things. First, there is a statute of limitations on such things. Second, can you prove it? Do you have a trail of documentation describing the events? This would include when it happened, who was involved, what was said/done, when you complained, what your boss/HR did in response to your claim, what happened afterwards, etc. Third, why were you fired? What was the reason given? Do you suspect retaliation or did you do something in violation of company policy?
