What does an employment lawyer usually do at the first consultation?
i called a lawyer about a pregnancy discrimination case with my job. the lawyer told me he thinks i have a good case and he made me an appointment. what can i expect when i go talk to him? ive already told him my situation on the phone and im just wondering what the steps are. by the way its a big company that im trying to get a lawsuit against. if anyone has any advice or have had an experience with a lawyer i would really appreciate it.

In the meantime, you can also go to the EEOC Press Release site and search the page for “pregnancy discrimination”. Read the press releases to see why employers are getting sue. It will give you some ideas for presenting your own case.
